Mullite castable is a refractory castable which is made of high-quality porous mullite aggregate, plus fine powder and additives. The material ratio can be adjusted according to the actual usage of the boiler, and customized production can be carried out. The critical particle size of mullite aggregate is 12mm; Long-term use temperature is 1350℃.
It has high mechanical strength and good thermal shock resistance, abrasion resistance and other properties. Mullite castable has high service temperature and can be directly contacted with flame to be used as working lining, thus realizing high temperature and energy saving; Light unit volume weight, reduced structural weight by 40 ~ 60%, and eliminated the hidden danger of broken bricks of hanging bricks on the top of the furnace; It can dry off the oven immediately after construction, shorten the drying period, and have remarkable economic benefits.
The use of mullite refractory castable proves that this castable has good fluidity, stripping resistance and heat preservation performance, and is suitable for application in high temperature parts of heating furnace. It has obvious effects on prolonging the service life of the furnace body, reducing the thermal conductivity of the heating furnace body and improving the thermal efficiency. In addition, lightweight aggregate with different bulk density has a great influence on the index of mullite refractory castable, so should be carefully selected.
Application: Mullite castable is suitable for the lining of tubular heating furnace, light diesel oil, ethane cracking furnace, atmospheric and vacuum furnace, sulfur recovery device, steam boiler, Hexsteel insulation layer, cylinder and pipe insulation single layer, door lining of other industrial furnaces, fire watch hole and observation hole door, etc. It can also be used as the lining of circulating fluidized bed boiler water cold air chamber, insulated air chamber, boiler, blast furnace hot blast stove, heating furnace, ceramic kiln, etc.
